Apple Launches iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus with A11 Chipset and New Camera Setup

Apple has released its latest iPhone product at the event which took place on 12 September. While the iPhone X became the main star on the show, but the presence of iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus also get the spotlight because this smartphone duo comes with a number of important improvements and some new features that have not existed in the previous generation.

As the successor to iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, this latest smartpone duo is no longer carrying full-metal unibody design, but already using a rear cover made of glass. That way, the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus can carry the wireless charging feature like the iPhone X. Although the front of this smartphone still looks similar to its predecessor, but Apple has used a glass front that is claimed as the strongest glass for smartphones and frames made of aluminum 7000 series which is notoriously strong.
This smartphone duo also comes with the latest chipset, the Apple A11 Bionic which offers improved performance thanks to a hexa-core processor configuration. The A11 Bionic chip has two high-powered cores that offer 25% faster performance than the A10 Fusion chip. For the other four cores are cores with efficient power and 70% faster than two low power cores on the A10 Fusion chip. For GPU on chip A11 also promises upgraded performance up to 30%.
Apple iPhone 8 has a 4.7 inch screen, while the Plus version has a 5.5 inch screen. You also still get the 3D Touch feature, Wide Color Cinema Gamut and True Tone. Both these phones also still retain waterproof and dust features.
Although the resolution of the iPhone 8 camera still remains the same 12MP, but Apple claims the camera on the iPhone 8 comes with a new camera sensor. This new sensor is said to bring a better ISP increase. While the role of the A11 Bionic chip is able to provide a focus capture speed even in low light conditions, improves sharpness, and minimizes noise.
What is even more amazing is the fact that the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus duo cameras are capable of recording 4K videos at 60fps. While to record Full HD 1080p video can reach 240fps. Of course this improvement is much better than the previous generation.
While dual-camera on duo iPhone 8 Plus consists of 12MP with f / 1.8 aperture and 12MP telephoto lens with f / 2.8 aperture. The telephoto lens on the iPhone 8 Plus has a new feature called Potrait Lighting. How it works, the dual-camera setup will capture the image, then identify the subject of the face that will directly make it better. Even you can still adjust the effects after you take a photo.

Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus will enter pre-order on September 15 and will be sold on September 22nd. For memory configurations starting from 64GB to 256GB, where for iPhone 8 the cheapest price starts at $ 699 and the cheapest price of iPhone 8 Plus starts at $ 799. There are three color choices, including Silver, Space Gray, and New Gold.
