Not to be outdone by Asus and Gigabyte who have already claimed to have a custom graphics card based on AMD Radeon RX Vega graphics card, XFX as one of AMD’s faithful partners is rumored to likely also will have the same thing as what can be seen from the latest teaser image card custom Radeon RX Vega’s upcoming graphics. Teaser figures graphics card was first appeared and seen through reddit thanks to postings made by Mark Regimbal, who currently serves as a community manager at XFX.
The first thing that attracts attention is the presence of a pair of large red fans, which are protected by carbon fiber bandages. Support the 8 + 6 pin PCIe power connector on the PCB end, placed between the two large red fans. Speaking of PCB, it looks relatively short compared to its ancestors.
In addition to the large cooling system complete with copper heatpipe, in the teaser image there appears a standard arrangement for the existence of I / O port, which consists of three DisplayPort and one HDMI. While on the back, it can also look a rather plump backplate that gives us a clear picture on the cooling aluminum fins along with logos for XFX and Vega.
The 8 + 6 arrangement is clearly different from the card references that have so far featured a double 8-pin PCIe connector, so it’s only natural to connect the existing teaser image to the presence of Radeon RX Vega 56. However, it still seems to be awaiting official confirmation from XFX about it, including details of pricing information and availability if necessary.
