Huawei Honor 7X, Appears In Geekbench, Unveils Kirin 659 Chipset and 4GB of RAM

Huawei’s sub-brand of smartphones, namely Honor has been scheduled to release a new smartphone on October 11 tomorrow. The new smartphone will be named Honor 7X, which has recently appeared in the Geekbench database, revealing some of its key specifications.

Smartphones that appear on the Geekbench site have the model number “Huawei BND-AL10”. While rumors circulating so far say if the smartphone has a code name Bond. The Smartphone has also been certified 3C from China, where the certification reveals the device has a model number of BND-AL10 and BND-TL10.
Geekbench’s list also revealed if the Honor 7X smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and is powered by an octa-core processor paired with 4 GB of RAM. In previous reports it has been revealed that Huawei Honor 7 will be powered by Huawei’s newest mid-range chipset, the Kirin 659.

On a single-core test, the handset is able to print 909 points and on multi-core tests, able to record a score of 3159. This indicates that Huawei Honor 7X will be a smartphone targeting the mid-range market segment. On the other hand, the newest Kirin 659 chipset will be an enhanced version of the Kirin 658 chpiset, where the chipset has been used on multiple smartphones and one of them is the Huawei P10 Lite.
Recently Huawei has also just launched Honor 9i or Nova 2i for several countries, where the smartphone also carries Kirin 659 chipset. It is a 16nm chipset that has quad-core Cortex A53 2.36 GHz CPU and quad-core Cortex A51 1 , 7 GHz. This chipset also has Mali T830 MP2 GPU.

Unfortunately there is no leak about the selling price of this smartphone, but it is expected Honor 7X will be a competitor mid-range Xiaomi Mi 5X smartphone.
