Moniker “Apache Pro” which had exhibited MSI at the Computex event some time ago, seems to have to change the new name that has now been lined up to Raider Series. The four latest models are presented, namely GE63VR, GE63, GE73VR, and GE73, marking the overall rebranding.
Still carrying the design of a sports car, the chassis that used to appear to have similarities like its predecessor. Support 15-inch display panel has been embedded on the GE63 model, while support 17-inch screen panel used on the GE73 model.

Similarly, the graphics card option offered is the same as its predecessor, the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 (7RC), Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti (7RD), Nvidia GeForce 1060 (7RE), and Nvidia GeForce 1070 (7RF). While the inclusion of the name “VR” on the exemplary model of the product only applies if the graphics card used model at least Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060, for example, GE63VR7RE is a 15-inch model equipped with Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card.
Whether it’s a 15-inch model or a 17-inch model has the same display options as its predecessor. Consumers can choose between a 120Hz display panel that supports 1920 × 1080 pixel resolution with 3ms response time capability (claimed to be the first in the world) or an IPS 3840 × 2160 pixel display panel.
The connectivity used is the same although there is a difference of support, where the GE63 and GE73 models use USB 3.1 Type-C interface and three USB 3.0 ports. The HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.3 interfaces can connect to external displays or HMD VRs, and you can go online thanks to the gigabit Killer E2500 or Wi-Fi 802.11ac LAN connection (with Wireless Killer AC present in the previous 7RE / 7RF model).

MSI itself has reportedly revealed the full specification of the latest Raider Series gaming laptop is. But the price and availability, unfortunately still not known so far.
