Amid the increasingly fierce SoC market competition of late, MediaTek does not seem to want to miss its competitors. And even from one of the outstanding news, the Taiwan-based SoC manufacturing manufacturer is expected to be the target of attention for the world’s mobile device industry as it will re-present the latest flagship chip duo next up at the end of this August.
Helio P23 and P30 are the latest MediaTek mobile processor duo in question. The two new SoCs are said to be officially introduced on 29 August.
And even a number of leading mobile device manufacturers from bamboo curtains such as Oppo, Vivo, Meizu and Xiaomi are predicted to be the first to adopt both MediaTek chipsets, which are expected to be commercially realized in the fourth quarter of this year.
Although there is a mention of less powerful Helio P23 chipset produced on 16nm process, but SoC with 8 cores is said to support Quad HD display and also dual-camera settings available. Therefore, Helio P23 is said to be ideal for pinned on the existence of mid-range handset (mid-range) at this time.
