It’s the turn for Zotac who is better known as the world’s small PC giant form factor to show off in bringing the addition of the latest mini PC model to the ranks of the Zbox M Series that became the current flagship.
Although it only has a size of 184x72x184mm, but does not block mini Zbox MI553 PC armed with the power of Intel Core i5-7300HQ processor that can operate at 2.5GHz clock with a 3.5GHz turbo frequency. On the memory side there is support for two SODIMM slots that can hold up to 32GB of DDR4-2400 dual-channel memory, while on the graphic support side itself seems to entrust to the reliability of the Intel HD 630 chip supposedly capable of providing up to 4096 × 2160 pixels @ 60Hz resolution using DisplayPort 1.2 connector or present a 3840 × 2160 pixel @ 60Hz display of existing HDMI 2.0 output.
In addition to having Optane Memory-ready support, two M2 SSD slots and a single slot of 2.5 “SATA 2.5” 6Gbps hard drive inside, this new Zotac mini PC also features a number of powerful support features, such as Thunderbolt 3 connectivity, , HDMI and Mini DisplayPorts, Ethernet gigabit cable, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1, and four USB 3.0 ports. By pressing two tabs on the back of the chassis and lifting the top, making access to the inside of the unit becomes so simple. Not just a matter of maintenance that can be done more quickly and easily, but users who want to upgrade the process was reportedly can also be accommodated with Zotac design concept on this one.
Zbox MI553 is a barebones solution that allows end users to select and select memory and storage options that suit their users’ needs. While MI553 Plus is a mini PC complete with 4GB DDR4 memory and SATA 120GB M.2 SSD that has been installed previously.
