Huawei P9 is a flagship that slid in April last year, and now it’s already more than a year old. But Huawei seems smart enough in utilizing the big name P9 to launch a derivative product of the flagship smartphone that comes with the dual-camera setup. After the release of Huawei P9 Lite, the company is now secretly launching Huawei P9 Lite Mini.
The company is not seen announcing the presence of this smartphone, but one of the retailers in Hungary has sold a dual-SIM variant of the P9 Lite Mini. This is another variant of the P9 Lite, which has a smaller size. But not only different sizes, Mini variants also have a slightly trimmed specifications.
Unlike the P9 Lite that comes with 5.2-inch screen, the P9 Lite Mini variant comes with a 5 inch HD resolution screen 720 × 1280 pixels. The front camera of this smartphone is also smaller, from 8MP on P9 Lite to 5MP on Mini variants. As for other specifications, both share the same specifications.
The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset with a 1.4GHz quad-core processor. In addition there is a capacity of 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which of course can still be expanded with microSD. This smartphone runs Android 7.0 Nougat which is already lined with EMUI 5.1 and has a battery of 3020 mAh.
In Hungary, this smartphone sells for € 190 or equivalent to Rp 3 million, and is expected to soon appear single-SIM variant with a cheaper price.
