WhatsApp Will Soon Play YouTube Video In Chat

If the first WhatsApp can only be used for chatting, now Facebook messenger service that has been transformed into an application that can do many things. WhatsApp can now be used for phones, video calls, status updates, even now can be used to send files. Now WhatsApp is rumored to be working on a new feature, which lets users view YouTube videos right from the app.

According to WABetaInfo’s Twitter account, WhatsApp is rumored to be working on ways that users can play YouTube videos directly from apps without leaving the app. As we know, now WhatsApp will direct users to the YouTube app or browser if the user does not have the YouTube app when they want to open a YouTube link in chat.

 

While the new code for playing YouTube videos directly from the app has been introduced in WhatsApp app version 2.17.40. WABetaInfo has a very good reputation, where the leak of new features on WhatsApp that they spread rarely miss. So, there is a great possibility if this new feature will actually be presented by the company.

 

According to WABetaInfo, the new feature allows users to zoom in or out of video within the chat window, and can play videos in full screen mode. Not to forget, the picture-in-picture function will also be applied so that the video does not cover the chat text. Users will be able to scroll chat even while playing a video, but the video window will stop when the user exits the chat window and switches to another chat.

 

Until now not yet known when WhatsApp will release the new features, but a clear leak from WABetaInfo most likely come true.
